"I've really enjoyed working at COCO, and have been really proud and happy to have been able to help out with some of COCO's projects. I'm still quite chuffed that I was able to be so involved in finding a trekking company for the Everest base camp trek. I also wanted to say thank you for being so helpful over the last two years, whenever I came to you with a problem you were always very nice and helped me sort out what needed to be done."

We're not sure quite where we would be without our wonderful volunteers. We rely heavily on volunteers for tasks relating to our overseas programmes, fundraising and data administration.
We are looking for volunteers who can help for a minimum of 4 hours a week at our office in Newcastle. As well as being a huge help to us, placements are also a great way for you to enhance your skills, boost your CV and develop contacts in international development.

In exceptional circumstances, COCO offers overseas volunteering placements. Such placements tend to be for skilled researchers or teachers. If you're interested in finding out more, please contact [email protected]
We are currently looking for native English speakers to help with teaching English and improving confidence of students in Tanzania, from nursery to secondary level.
