COCO’s Celebrity Golf Day raises £31,000 for brighter futures

27 Teams from across the North East played alongside sporting stars at COCO’s Celebrity Golf Day at Slaley Hall on June 17th.
In this Olympic Year COCO were proud to welcome 8 Olympic medallists to the COCO Golf Day, including three Gold medallists, Sir Matthew Pinsent, Sally Gunnell and Jonathan Edwards. Olympians were also joined by regular guests Kriss Akabusi, Willie Thorne and Hazel Irvine. Local stars include Steve Harper, Gary Pallister, Fabulous Flournoy and Ben Woods, with celebrities taking part in a Celebrity Q& A with guests later in the evening.
The event raised over £31, 000 towards COCO’s projects, helping to make a HUGE difference to the lives of disadvantaged children overseas. COCO would like to thank all our guests and sponsors Dunelm Property Services and Audi- thanks to your generosity even more children will be able to look forward to brighter futures.
