Incredible result for Fiver for February campaign!

In just over a month £750 has been raised, through people sending in just a fiver. A huge thank you to all those who donated to our Fiver for February Campaign!
All the fivers sent are going to helping a specific project. The proceeds from the appeal helped refurbish a Vocational Training Centre in Songea, Tanzania. The Centre is designed to provide the poorest members of the community with skills to increase their chance of employment.
By January the building was complete…but without any of the necessary equipment. The money raised means that practical lessons in woodwork and sewing and can now begin, in addition to numeracy and literacy.
So far, the fivers you have sent us have bought…tailoring equipment, sewing machines, chairs and many technical items including set squares, tape measures, screw drivers, sand paper and tools. £750 has gone a long way to raise the required amount but please keep sending your fivers so that we can send the rest as soon as possible!
