Rachael's record- breaking Glo- Ball raises over £5000 towards brighter futures!
Rachael Howard of Jones Lang La Salle raised over £5,000 at the weekend at her Glo-Ball in Skipton to raise sponsorship for her London Marathon place in April. Rachael is very passionate about COCO’s work with the iThemba Lethu project in Durban, and has already been involved in supporting a number of community and education based projects in South Africa.
The Glo-Ball, held in Skipton, North Yorkshire was a great success attracting 200 guests from across the region and further afield. The evening's entertainment included games and an auction of local promises with prizes generously donated by local companies, friends and family, as well as Rachael herself who will be hosting a guided walking tour of the Dales, complete with gourmet picnic, for the lucky winner - a relaxing break after the tough endurance training for the Marathon!
