Steve Joins North East Celebrities for Cycle Challenge

Steve Cram will be joining celebrities from the world of sport and local media to take part in the Northern Rock Cyclone on Friday 12th June.
For the challenge, a group of around 10 celebrities will compete in a 1km time trial against the clock, with the fastest celebrity winning funds for their dedicated charity. The Celebrity Challenge will take place just before the Cyclone's Elite Criterium race in Leazes Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, on the evening of Friday 12th June.
The star studded line-up includes - local footballing legend Peter Beardsley, Newcastle Eagles players Fabulous Flournoy and team mate Andrew Sullivan, Ex-England and Crystal Palace footballer Geoff Thomas, BBC Look North's Jeff Brown and Metro Radio presenter Steve Colman.
Steve will be cycling in aid of COCO and is looking forward to the challenge, he is definitely in it to win it! With his Coast to Coast experience the team at COCO have no doubt that Steve will be in with a great chance.
The Northern Rock Cyclone looks set to attract some of the best riders in the country and Europe to the region, and people of all ages and abilities can take part too! This is a great opportunity for COCO supporters to grab their bike and raise funds for COCO and with youth and adult races taking places on Friday evening there's no excuse not to get involved.
