Cycling Sensation!

Congratulations to COCO's cycling sensation Allison Curbishley! Allison joined a host of celebrities from the North East for the Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge on Friday 12th June.
Steve Cram was forced to pull out due to injury but Allison flew the COCO flag and competed in a 1km time trial in Leazes Park, Newcastle. Other celebrities competing included BBC Look North presenter Jeff Brown, ex-England and Crystal Palace footballer Geoff Thomas, sports commentator Roger Tames and Metro Radio presenter Steve Colman.
Putting all the men to shame, Allison beat off teh competition to finish first place in an impressive 1 minute and 27 seconds, followed by Geoff Thomas.
Thanks to Allison's fantastic achievement COCO will receive £3000 to spend on our projects in Tanzania.
