Colin Murray, long time COCO supporter and two-time participant in the Maasai Cycle Challenge, and CopC Productions, present an evening of stand up comedy to raise money to build a library at Maasai Academy in Kenya.
Six fantastic comedians will be on hand to entertain throughout the night: Matt Forde, Eddi Kadi, Justin Moorhouse, Lucy Porter, Paul Sinha and Iain Stirling.
Maasai Academy is situated in a very remote area of Maasailand. Colin has visited the school twice while taking part in the Maasai Cycle Challenge and was moved to raise money to build a library for the school and the community - so has organised this fantastic comedy night!
Alongside books, the library will house a computer lab with internet access, which will allow children to read further on school subjects, and for the whole community to learn about topics that they otherwise would not have access to, including FGM and to hear about powerful female role models. Come along and help raise money for the library.
"Maasai Academy is inspiring change through education, the addition of a library will help the whole community. It is important that the books illustrate the potential the world holds for these kids, both male and female."
- Colin Murray
