Support COCO this Christmas with the Big Give Challenge - DOUBLE donations to make a difference!
We need your help to make our 2024 Big Give challenge a success!

Niaver Nursery is ready to extend its offering from providing nursery education to become a full primary school - so more classrooms are needed! COCO is taking part in this year's Big Give Christmas Challenge to fund this expansion. We've been promised £5,000 towards this project, but only if we can raise the same amount:
£5,000 in online donations, in just one week from 3rd to 10th December.

Can you help Niaver go from Bricks to Brighter Futures and expand education in Bwayi?

Niaver Nursery & Resource Centre is located in the rural village of Bwayi near Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, Kenya.
The building was funded by COCO and provides nursery education for 80 young pupils, as well as housing a resource centre used for educating local adults in Sustainable Agriculture, Drought Resistant Crop planting, and other training courses.

Now Niaver is ready to extend its offering from providing nursery education to become a full primary school - offering education for more children and creating brighter futures for this community.

What is the Big Give Christmas Challenge?
The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest match-funded campaign. For seven days, the challenge offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to double their donations. It’s a simple idea - when someone donates to a charity through a Big Give campaign, other funders (philanthropists, foundations or corporates) match that donation.  So £50 from a member of the public becomes £100 for a good cause.
One donation, twice the impact!

COCO is raising £10,000 via the Big Give for Niaver Nursery to expand!

We need £5,000 donated between 3rd and 10th December - can you help??

Helpful information:

-
COCO's £10,000 target is made up of: £5,000 in online donations between 3rd - 10th December 2024 + £2,500 in pledges from COCO supporters + £2,500 from a Big Give Champion funder.

-
Pledges are commitments of funding made by COCO’s supporters and form part of our matching pot for the campaign. Pledgers are promising to match online donations received when the campaign is live. People who have pledged funds cannot donate online when the Big Give appeal is live (as they would effectively be doubling their own donation). Pledges and Champion funds are paid direct to COCO after the online part of the appeal has ended.

-
Donations to the appeal must be made online via the Big Give dedicated website, between midday on Tuesday 3rd December and midday on Tuesday 10th December 2024. COCO must receive a total of £5,000 in online donations in order to access the pledged and champion funds.
