Who's Daithi Heneghan?

Daithi Heneghan is an extraordinary adventurer and humanitarian from Mayo. Last year, he completed the legendary North Cape 4000, a 4,000-kilometre cycling challenge from Turin to the Arctic Circle, carrying everything he needed on his bike, Jasper, and climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest four times. His incredible journey raised a record-breaking £14,500 for COCO, and he now sets his sights on his 60 for 60 campaign, proving that courage, determination, and adventure can change lives.

What's the North Cape to Tarifa?

The NorthCape-Tarifa is the world’s longest single-stage, unsupported cycling challenge, stretching 7,400 km across 15 countries from Norway to Spain. Riders tackle extreme terrain, from –211 m below sea level to Pico del Veleta (3,398 m), the highest ridable road in Europe, conquering legendary climbs like Col d’Iseran and Port d’Envalira along the way. Passing iconic checkpoints such as Helsinki, the Hill of Crosses, Col du Galibier, Nice, and finishing in Tarifa, the route demands unmatched endurance, determination, and courage, making it one of the most epic cycling adventures on Earth.
