International Women's Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.

The theme for IWD in 2023 was ‘Embracing Equity’.

COCO was delighted to welcome a diverse range of speakers who shared their personal experience of inequity (and inequality) be it personal, educational or professional.

Not only did we explore the challenges women face, but we heard how they were overcome and celebrated success! So much positivity comes from COCO's annual International Women’s Day events.

Change is still needed, and this is not a women-only event, we welcome all genders so that we can come together to embrace equity!
