We are very excited to be the chosen charity for the first ever Newcastle International Film Festival (NiFF)! Both NiFF and COCO are proudly based here in the North East, but have a global reach and outlook.
The Newcastle International Film Festival is a four day event taking place across venues throughout Newcastle-upon-Tyne between March 29th and April 1st 2018. With films from all genres from around the world being showcased, this inaugural festival will be a truly international celebration of film.
COCO and NiFF will be working together to make sure the event is a huge success while spreading the word about COCO across the region and raising much needed funds for COCO's work helping
children in East Africa access education.
Having a love of running and strong running community around us, COCO is organising a Film Fun Run for schools in the North East. Children will take part in a small 2km run dressed as their favourite film characters. They'll be encouraged to raise a small amount of sponsorship and each student will get an exclusive bespoke medal for taking part.
