Digital Teacher Training with the Commonwealth Education Trust

Our partner schools in Tanzania are currently closed, but that doesn't mean we have stopped working to improve the quality of education!

While teachers are not in the classroom, they are making the most of their time by training online to learn new teaching methods and skills, through an exciting partnership with the Commonwealth Education Trust.

We have been working together to trial online courses in a variety of topics to improve teacher quality and provide teachers with professional development opportunities. When schools reopen teachers will have exciting new teaching methods and skills to further improve lessons. Not only that, but their digital skills will be improved too.

This is a worrying time, but this has been a great opportunity to roll out this exciting new partnership, when face-to-face teaching isn't possible. Here's COCO's CEO, Lucy Kendall talking more about the partnership:
