Trustees Week

Last week was Trustees Week and we showcased each of our trustees in turn on social media. We wanted to take the opportunity to thank our fantastic board of trustees who are absolutely key to everything that COCO does. Our trustees put in so much time and effort to supporting COCO in various ways, and without their support and expertise COCO would not be able to achieve what it does. COCO is definitely stronger because of our trustees' leadership – THANK YOU!

Steve Cram CBE is COCO's chairman and co-founder, and needs little introduction!  Steve has been a huge part of COCO since the very beginning, and has been involved with everything COCO has achieved, every step of the way - from founding the charity to cycling across Kenyan Maasailand, from speaking at events to chairing our board meetings.  Without Steve, COCO wouldn't exist!

Lisa Liddell's expertise in marketing is invaluable to COCO.  She helps us with lots of important tasks such as writing our communications plan and organising and marketing events.  Lisa is always on hand with great advice, and always goes out of her way to help COCO.

COCO co-founder Jim Panton has been heavily involved in COCO since the very beginning.  As well as being an active board member, he is passionate about COCO’s projects and always supports COCO’s events. Jim is an avid runner and member of COCO’s affiliated running club Team COCO.  Without Jim, COCO would certainly not be what it is today!

Peter Warburton OBE has been a COCO Trustee for over 10 years and since then has helped and supported COCO in many different ways, from giving excellent advice on all things international development and attending our annual balls.

Katherine Hay-Heddle has been a COCO trustee for over five years, and her expertise and knowledge in all things law have been invaluable to COCO.  Besides support on the law front she regularly attends our events, and as a member of Team COCO she raises money for COCO running races all over the world!

Carsten Staehr is the newest edition to COCO’s board of trustees.  As CEO of Cintra HR and Payroll he is our expert in all things HR.  Carsten has been a long-standing COCO supporter for many years, he’s a regular at our ball, has cycled Kenya Maasailand, an avid runner, and currently holds the COCO C2C crown!

Fiona O'Connor has been a COCO trustee for over five years, and has a great amount of experience and knowledge of the third sector which she shares with COCO.  Outside of the ball she regularly attends the COCO ball and has ran the Great North Run in aid of COCO.

THANK YOU to all of you for everything that you have done for COCO!
